The Treeing Tennessee Brindle is excellent at treeing and searching as its name suggests. Speed its intelligence, and scenting power contribute to attribute. Additionally, its coat (in brindle and black with brindle trimming) is short, dense, and smooth. It’s tail ears, black nose muzzle, tight cat feet, prominent eyes which are set wide apart, and a broach chest. This dog is perfect as a dog and a pet. This hunting dog is ideal for the hunter that is human.

In 1967, the Treeing Tennessee Brindle Breeders Association was formed to maintain the cur dogs that were brindle-colored with companionable temperaments, and their brave.

The primary characteristic of the TTB is his coat. He is smaller than the Plott, using another and an ear build. Out when he is on the trail he is acclaimed for his voice and sings. Regardless of the emphasis on the coat in the title, in regards to this breed, performance is paramount.

Personality

The strain is a practical and nice companion for dogs and men during hunting. As hunters, they’re attentive, fast and courageous. They are obedient, intelligent, affectionate and easy-going companions. This strain when subjected to abuse and neglect will lose hunting soul and it’s affectionate and may be sensitive.

Living

The Treeing Tennessee Brindle thrives in the outdoors and is a hunter. Apartment life with a small yard won’t suffice with this hunting and active enthusiast. It should have a lot of activities for searching and treeing.

Exercise

This dog needs loads of exercises to hone its own hunting and treeing abilities. Searching action outdoor and a campout will, although its hunting instinct will not satisfy. It has to be given exercise.

Size

Males stand 18 to 24 inches at the shoulder and females endure 16 to 22 inches. Weight is proportionate to height, ranging from 30 to 45 lbs.

Coat Color and Grooming

The short, smooth coat comes in black or brindle. Some dogs have white markings on feet or the breast.
